This weekend we were one of the millions to see the new Borat movie. While we used to go to the movies every week, this year we haven't. Nothing really sparked our interest . Until now. Borat was hilarious. We went Friday evening and it was a great way to end a stressful week. We haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I would recommend seeing this one in the theater, simply because it's the type of movie where audience reaction is key.

Borat was the most fun I've had the movies in quite some time too .. My favorite scene, if I had to pick just one, was when he gets "saved" at the revival meeting
I think mine was where Borat was chasing his friend. We laughed so hard we were crying. And I usually don't go for physical comedy.
We used to go to the movies all the time. Now, we are so busy with other stuff, given the quality of the movies and the quality of our experience (1 out of 3 times some a**hole talks throughout it), we usually find something better to do and wait until it comes out on DirecTV. For example, we watched War of the Worlds on Halloween (we thought it would be an appropriate Halloween tribute to Orson Wells). Twenty minutes into it we decided we didn't care about any of the characters to root for them to live. Unfortunately, that's what Hollywood is producing. Even the big budget action movies seem lame.
Maybe the freshness of Borat is what made it so great.
I'd love to see the results of listing this film in your top ten for a free personality reading on www.cinescopes.com!
