Is your city haunted?

This is a neat website that lists haunted places by state and city. There is even a haunted spot in Pflugerville, out by our dog trainer. As for the ghost in Old Main at Texas State University-San Marcos, I have spent a lot of the time during the last two years in that building and this is the first I've heard of that ghost and I've never seen her, but I swear, there are time that their are gremlins in the computers.

Chillicothe made this list...

Chillicothe - Slagle Cemetery/Bridge - Mr. Slagle was one of the first settlers in Livingston County. He built a mill and was a wealthy man. He had several wives and several children, but most of them died mysteriously. Mr. Slagle is said to have murdered them all, but since there was no law in Livingston County yet, he was never officially charged. He was also responsible for the first reported murder in Livingston County. The body of the man he murdered is buried beneath the road that runs past the cemetery. The graves of his wives and children are still there along with his own, and the cemetery is said to be haunted. There is also a very old bridge on the property which is said to be haunted. One of the wives supposedly hung herself from the bridge after the mysterious death of one of her children. There are satanic symbols painted on the bridge, and it is very spooky. There have been several people who have been mysteriously pushed off the bridge and injured when no one was standing around. It used to be a place where teenagers hung out at night, but too many people have been injured and it is now off limits. The current owners of the property have reported hearing mysterious whispers on the bridge and sightings of Mr. Slagle are very common around the cemetery and where the mill stood. The submitter claims to have a picture that they took of the cemetery on a clear night, but on the picture it looks like it is snowing. There are dozens of small orbs and also the transparent figure of a young woman in an old fashioned dress. - December update: The bridge was torn down

I currently live by where slagles cemetary is,my sister is even buried in that cemetery, and i have lived here since i was 4 and i am now 13,and all of that stuff about slagle whispering on the bridge and there being a satanic symbol on the bridge and people being pushed off is all lies. That bridge is like in my backyard. We tore down the bridge though because it was about to fall and it was dangerous. There is only one person i know that has fell off of that bridge and she is a teenager that got drunk down there one night and fell off the edge and got paralyzied. There is nothing even scary about the bridge or cemetery. It is not haunted, and that thing about knocking on slagles grave at midnight on halloween and friday the 13th is a lie too because me and my sister and some friends have tried it. There are no such thing as ghost. When you die, you either go to heaven or hell. You do not rome around on the earth. I hate when people tell stories about slagle and other things that are so stupid and not true.

I only visited Slagle's a couple of times when I was in high school (this was 25 years ago!!) I don't remember any ghosts, just getting the car stuck in the ditch. I seem to remember a nearby house with the roof shingles in a large swastika pattern.

The house belonged to the Dietrich family who believed that Germany was going to win the war. Mr.Dietrich did'nt want his house to be bombed when the Germans flew over, so he had a swastika on the roof.

Yea that house was recently burnt down and nothing remains but the foundation. it was known around here as the NAZI house because of the swastica tha still ramained on the roof till it burnt down.
